Waiting

Waiting for the moon to fade away so the sun can shine brightly.
Waiting for the snow to melt so the grass can grow green again.
Waiting for a baby to take its first breath.
Waiting for the song to end so we can learn the lyrics to a new one.
All of these things will happen, eventually.
Shine brightly, grow green, first breath, lyrics.
I am and forever will be waiting....
