I just can't believe it!

Wow today was the last day of school for winter break. I'm really going to miss my friends. Some of my friends are leaving sitka, but some are staying here. One of the only friends I might see over brake will be carley. We just had the winter concert and the "party" at school. It was so much fun! All of my friends have stuff to do this winter but I'm not what I'm going to do, besides hanging with my family.

Say NO to Lap Tops

Do we really need lap tops? It would be hard on the environment. There are a lot of bad sites. If you aren't a good typer, it would be really hard for you to do everything. Sometimes there won't be any Internet to connect to. Lap tops are too expensive for the economy.There will sometimes not be any plug ins to plug in your lap top. There are to many problems with lap tops, and they should not be provided to the students of blatchley middle school.

Lap tops are very hard on the Earth. Just to make one lap top there is a lot of plastic and energy. To power a lop top, it takes a lot of energy and power plants. All of that can be harmful to both us and the Earth. Why would you want to do this to happen to our Earth?

There are so many sites it can be distracting. On the Internet there are a lot of bad sites. Myspace can have anything posted. You might see or have inappropriate pictures or bad words. Some sites could give your computer viruses. Would you want this to happen to you?

If you aren't a very good typer, everything could get harder. That could make your grades drop below average. There are too many unuseful keys on the keyboard. If you press one wrong thing. everything could disappear. Just use a pencil, it will go much faster. Is it worth all that when you could just write it nice and neat.

Sometimes you won't have any connection. It's really hard to connect to the internet. The Internet isn't everywhere, so it wouldn't help. It can be too slow or freeze. If that happens, your work could be lost. There's not always Internet.

It is too expensive to get lap tops. With about 360 kids in the school, and 1,00 dollars per lap top, that's 36,000 dollars! With that much money we could fix up our school. If you lose it, you have to pay more. All in all, they are too expensive.

What if the battery runs out? Sure there is a cord, but what if you aren't able to plug it in? If kids needed to plug it in during school we would need way more outlets. If you have an animal that chews on things, it might ruin the cord. The battery could even break! We as the students don't have time for lap tops.

Please, say no to lap tops. Remember the impact on the Earth. There are a lot of bad sites out there. If you aren't a good typer pencils are for you not lap tops. Sometimes there won't be any Internet to connect to. It would be way to much to get them. There aren't enough outlets. Just to many things could go wrong with lap tops. Blatchley, just say no!

spirit week

Not much has been going on for me these last few days. Seriously for everybody else this week is so much fun but for me it's just weird. It's spirit week at school and I have only dressed up for one of the days and I will am going to be dressing up for decades day tomorrow. Some people have dressed up everybody for the whole week but not me. I've got school spirit but I guess some people just have more then me. Everybody that sees me in the hall way probably thinks that I don't like my school because i don't dress up but truthfully I like my school I just like to dress normal.

my first book for english

My novel is called "The Clique Summer Collection." I was a really good book to read there are actually a whole series this book was on Massie. Massie is a stuck up little rich girl that gets her summer ruined but it was her fault! She is forced to get a summer job and is not happy about it. She had to get a job because of an "incident" at horse camp. Sence Massie is so in to makeup and clothes and shopping she decided to be a makeup sales woman. She refused to call her job a job because she thought that it was a hobby so she called it a jobby. I think this book is about learning experiences and that nothing comes without a consequence.

Five Paragraph Persuasive Essay Practice

Me, Elaina, The best writer in class of 2015. For a while now I have wanted a writer. Before this year I never wanted to write, but this year writing in my journal has given a me a world of ideas. In my spare time I love to write. I suppose that I even have some experience in writing. I'm am passionate, and I've got the attitude, and a way with words, that is why I want to be a writer.

One of the reason that I want to be a writer is because I have passion. I suppose that passion isn't something you learn, it's something you were born with everybody is. My passion is put into writing. Everybody has a different passion. It's a natural thing for everybody. If you set your passion to the write thing it could be a goal, being a writer is my goal.

Another reason I think that I would be a good writer is because i have some experience. I think that I have experience because I have been writing sense about when I was in fifth grade. Mrs. Himshoot is one of the reasons that I have experience. She introduced me to cursive hand writing and I realized that the whole reason that didn't like writing before was because my hand always hurt. With experience you can make many, many things come true for me I hope that it will be writing.

The last reason that I think I would make a good writer is because I have a way with words. I'm not sure how but I can take anything and turn it into something completely different or the same thing with a different way of saying it. I learned the use different words this year from our vocabulary words on our flash cards. Sometimes I over exaggerate the way I say things but it's not my fault!

Those are the three reasons I think that everyone must have to be a writer. To be a successful writer you must have passion, experience, and a way with words. It always makes me happy when I am in a bad mood to write down my mood in a described write. I hope that more people enjoy writing the way I do. Me, Elaina the best writer in class of 2015.

just at my house

Right now it is just me here alone in this big empty house, I sware there is nothing to do! Because it is morning I should be getting ready to go but I just kind of feel like I would rather be on the computer instead. Pretty soon my cousins will be here so I won't be quite so paranoid. The whole reason that I am alone is because the rest of my family is at the hospital for my little sister but it's nothing bad so don't worry!!!! This will probably be a short blog entry because soon I have to go but for the time being I'll just keep typing and see where this gets. I think that they might be here because my dog seems very excited and wont look away from the door. Oh my gosh school isn't for another hour. I am so bored even though I am on the computer. Okay maybe this entry isn't as short as I thought that it would. Gots to go my cousins are here.

Okay so.......

Okay so I know that I haven't been writing in my blog all that much but that is because i thought that it was only for school and I couldn't write about other topics but I found out I was wrong. Right now I am the only one home and trying to buy some new song by my favorite band but itunes is being super slow! It's Sunday and I don't think that I have any homework but it might actually be a good idea to check. Oh well I guess my dad came home. I know that this blog post is kind of random but I am just writing whatever comes to my mind first. Now I am just waiting until someone calls me or emails o something so I can go have fun on the last day before Monday. Ugh I don't want Monday to come I just want to stay in bed one more day and just lay there with nothing better to do but i suppose that it might be a good idea to go to school and turn in all the magazines that I have sold. Oh no I have gym tomorrow and we just finished flag foot ball so that means we have to start a new unit and I wonder what it is. Okay just forget itunes it is taking to long I will just go listen to paramore on youtube. I love there new album, Brand New Eyes. Okay so I think that I am going to be done with this entry now, should probably should see if I have homework so I don't get grounded for late or missing assignments.

guess what poem I heard in English today!

Today in English we read a new poem, well it s a rather old poem but it was new for me! The poem is called "Highway man." The poem we read read today I think was a pretty good, well written, and very descriptional piece. I can't believe that some people don't like it. For me the poem had a theme kind of like "Romeo and Juliet." Some of the words were a little confusing because it was a old poem. The poem is kind of a noir poem which means dark poem. I was also forbidden love and a tad bit of gothic. I don't think that words can express how wonderful this poem is.

Movie Review: Mater and the Ghost Light

Mater and the Ghost Light, by Joe Rampf. This movie is about a tow truck named Mater and how he is constantly playing tricks on his friends. After a while his friends get fed up with his acts so Doc tells him about the ghost light. When Doc is done explaining Mater drove home in fright. When Mater gets home Lightning McQueen and the four Cliff hang a light that was "following" Mater. Once Mater saw the light he drives all around the town screaming that the ghost light was coming to get him. Later on Mater finds out that it was just a lantern attached to his tow hitch. Again Doc tells Mater a story but this time it is about the screaming banchy and Mater meets the banchy but doesn't realize it.

One of the main themes is pranks. I think that one of the themes is pranks because the main thing that is going on through the whole thing is pranks and jokes. One of the other main things that I think that this movie is about is lessons. I think that it is lessons because Mater learns the lesson that what goes around comes around. This movie could even teach you to be nice to your friends because Mater learned that he was playing so many tricks on his friends that they decided to play one back on him.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. I think that my dad would enjoy this movie more then anyone. One more person that would watch this movie is my little sister. One the orig anal movie Cars most people liked Mater the best well I know I did. If you like to watch people get pranked then you would enjoy this movie. You don't even have to like Mater you could just watch it to see different types of animated cars.

journal entry, star gazing

Looking up into the sea of stars, brightness shall fill the night. Look left and look right stars are everywhere in the vast night. Watching as one single star flies through the sky. Seeing each perfections fill you, fill you with wonder. Wondering on which star shall I wish on tonight. Wish I may, wish I might, may I have a wish tonight. As the sun come up and the stars Begin to fade. Hoping my wish shall come true.

Me, myself and I. The person I am and who I want to become. Both of which are important to me. Me, myself and I quiet, exotic and weird. Where I am now, but where will I be later. Being me and only that. Just being me. No one else shall ever be on quite the same as me, for that I am happy. No one in the whole world will ever, ever be the same. Happy to be a one and only. Language Arts Class

I have made this blog for language arts for each book that I will be reading over the course of my seventh grade year. This will be my first blogging experience, and I am looking forward to it. Over the course of the year I will be making at least four different blogs about the books I will be reading.
